I’m Harper Belle—author, storyteller, lifelong Texan, coffee enthusiast, gardener, mother of four, and someone who has always believed stories have a way of finding us exactly when we need them most.
If you’re here, chances are you love emotionally intense stories, complicated characters, dark secrets, dangerous attraction, and the kind of romance that lingers long after the final page. If so, I think we’re going to get along just fine.
Writing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Long before I ever considered publishing, I was creating worlds in notebooks, imagining conversations between characters, and getting lost in stories that blended emotion, mystery, obsession, and human vulnerability. I’ve always been drawn to the shadows inside people—the parts we hide, the truths we bury, and the dangerous things we do in the name of love.
That fascination eventually became my debut novel, Psyched.
Psyched is a dark psychological romance that explores obsession, manipulation, blurred ethical lines, and the terrifying power of emotional attachment. It’s twisted, emotional, seductive, and deeply character-driven—exactly the kind of story I love to read and write. Bringing it to life was both exhilarating and terrifying, because every writer leaves pieces of themselves inside their work whether they intend to or not.
And honestly? This is only the beginning.
I currently have several additional projects in the works, ranging from dark romance to mystery romance, all threaded together by emotionally layered characters, atmospheric settings, tension-filled relationships, and stories that explore what people are capable of when desire, fear, grief, or obsession takes hold.
Outside of writing, my life is beautifully chaotic. I’m a mother of four, and two of my children proudly serve in the Army—something that fills me with both pride and constant prayer. Family means everything to me, and I think that emotional depth naturally finds its way into my stories. Even in the darkest romances, there’s always something deeply human at the center.
When I’m not writing, reading, or buried in fictional worlds, you can usually find me tending to my garden, rearranging bookshelves I swore I organized already, or plotting scenes in my head while pretending to do something productive.
